Celebrities getting plastic surgery has long been a hot topic. In recent media news, there are reports of Rene Zellweger and Uma Thurman stepping out onto the red carpet with some notable changes. Because they live life in the public spot light, we feel entitled to criticize not only their decision to have plastic surgery but also the outcome. Before we start pointing fingers, let’s ask our selves what we think is so upsetting about their decision and at what point we feel someone has crossed a line. For instance, if we are upset that they altered their “natural” appearance – should’t dying our hair, whitening our teeth, and permanent makeup consititue as similar alterations?
